Getting Married in Switzerland?

Your wedding deserves more than a beautiful backdrop.

Switzerland has a way of making everything look cinematic.

A ceremony above Lake Lucerne.
Champagne on a terrace overlooking the Alps.
A winter celebration in St. Moritz.
A summer evening somewhere between mountains, vineyards and water.

But here's the thing:

A spectacular location doesn't make a memorable wedding film.

The people do.

That's why I don't approach a Swiss wedding as a collection of beautiful landscapes.

I approach it as a story.

And my job is to make sure that, years from now, you don't just remember how Switzerland looked.

You remember how your wedding felt.

Ask about the availability of your date.

Planning a destination wedding in Switzerland?

If you're travelling to Switzerland to get married, you're probably already dealing with a lot.

A venue.

A planner.

Guests arriving from different countries.

Accommodation.

Transport.

Weather.

Timelines.

And hundreds of little decisions that somehow all have to come together on one day.

Your wedding film shouldn't add another thing to worry about.

It should simply be there.

I work closely with couples and planners before the wedding to understand how the day is going to unfold — where the important moments happen, how much time we have, where the light will be best and, most importantly, where there is room for the unexpected.

Because the best moments rarely appear on the schedule.

Switzerland isn't one wedding destination - it depends on what you want your wedding to feel like.

Lake Lucerne

Dramatic mountains, deep blue water and elegant lakeside venues.

Lake Lucerne works beautifully for couples looking for that unmistakable Swiss landscape without sacrificing the atmosphere of a sophisticated destination celebration.

St. Moritz

High alpine scenery, winter light, understated luxury and an unmistakable sense of place.

A St. Moritz wedding can feel intimate and cinematic at the same time — particularly when the landscape becomes part of the story without taking over.

Zürich

For couples who want Switzerland with a more contemporary, urban edge.

Modern architecture, elegant hotels, private celebrations and the energy of a city that still has the lake and mountains within reach.

The Bernese Oberland

If mountains are part of the dream, this is where Switzerland becomes almost unreal.

Small villages, alpine landscapes, dramatic peaks and intimate celebrations create an entirely different atmosphere.

Lake Geneva

Vineyards, grand hotels, lakeside celebrations and an international atmosphere.

Ideal for couples looking for something elegant, European and distinctly Swiss.

The best wedding films aren't planned shot by shot.

Simple from your side. (The work from mine).

01 — Say hello

Tell me what you're planning.

Where you're getting married.

Who's coming.

What kind of day you're dreaming about.

02 — Make a plan

We'll talk through your timeline, locations and the moments that matter.

I'll also help you think about light, timing and how to leave enough space for the unexpected.

03 — Forget about the camera

On the day, your only job is to enjoy yourselves.

I'll move quietly through the day and capture what's happening around you.

04 — Turn footage into a story

After the wedding, hours of footage become a carefully edited film.

Music.

Sound.

Speeches.

Atmosphere.

Emotion.

All brought together into one story.

05 — Press play

And suddenly you're back.

Same people.

Same place.

Same feeling.

For international couples, sound matters even more.

When a wedding brings together people from different countries, languages and generations, voices become part of the memory.

Your vows.

Your parents.

Your friends.

The speech you didn't expect.

The laughter around the dinner table.

The little comments between scenes.

I record these moments carefully and use them as part of the storytelling.

So your film isn't simply a sequence of beautiful images.

It has your voices inside it.

A man dressed in a white shirt and black bow tie is taking a photo through a window with a camera. The scene appears to be a restaurant or event space with decorated tables and chairs, and flowers and candles on the tables.

One filmmaker. One vision.

Your wedding shouldn't feel like a film production.

I deliberately keep the setup small and unobtrusive.

No huge crew.

No constant instructions.

No repeating moments because the camera wasn't ready.

You get one creative point of contact from our first conversation through filming, editing and final delivery.

The people you meet are the people creating your film.

I'm Sascha, founder of Loud Cinematography.

I've been filming weddings for more than ten years, and what I love most isn't necessarily the big, spectacular moments.

It's everything in between.

A quick glance.

A trembling voice.

A laugh that suddenly takes over the room.

The silence before the ceremony.

The energy on the dance floor.

People who have known each other for decades suddenly feeling like they're twenty again.

Those are the moments I want to capture.

You don't need to be comfortable in front of a camera.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to perform.

You just need to get married.

I'll take care of the rest.

Red/White Gown Same Sex Wedding Celebration

Tonwerk, Basel

Spectacular springtime wedding around Basel.

What you'll remember.

You will probably remember the venue.

The flowers.

The dress.

The mountains.

The champagne.

But memory has a strange way of working.

Years later, it may be something completely different that brings the day back.

A voice.

A laugh.

A song.

The way someone looked at you.

The sound of your friends shouting your name.

That's what I want your film to preserve.

Not just the appearance of your wedding.

Its atmosphere.

What my couples are saying

  • "I'm glad I found you guys as my wedding videographer. Coulnd't ask for more. It's perfect! Highly recommend them to anyone who is planning their wedding in Germany or around Europe. Thank you for making this beautiful wedding film."

    Catleya & Patrick

  • "We have rewatched our video so many times. It's amazing to see how you beautifully captured everything. We are so grateful for having this memory for the rest of our life."

    Ping & Mark

  • "Dear Sascha, we’d like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Our film is simply incredibly unique, beautiful, and a very precious memory. One guest’s feedback sums it up perfectly: “This isn’t just a video—it’s art.” And Henri Cartier-Bresson’s quote, “It’s an illusion that photos are made with the camera. They are made with the eye, heart, and head,” applies 100% to you."
